(Pecos County, Texas, USA) H5 (stone)
Found August 15th 1994
The lucky finder of this meteorite made his amazing discovery from a moving car while driving along a dirt road! A single mass of 11Kg was found, but with most of the mass now safely locked away in museum and institution collections, Barrilla is becoming increasingly difficult to find on the open market. Barrilla has a chocolate brown fusion crust, nice chondrules and bright metal flake set within a dark brown and black 'mottled' matrix.
