OT: BBC Radio 3, "Cornerstones"

Postby David Entwistle » Wed Feb 19, 2014 9:37 pm

Although off-topic for a meteorite discussion forum, anyone with an interest in geology, or rocks in general, may like to listen to the BBC Radio 3 programme Cornerstones. The broadcasts are at 22:45UT, on BBC Radio 3, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. Also available on iPlayer. Sorry, but regional restrictions will probably apply, outside the UK.

From the Radio Times:

Artists and writers describe how bedrock geology has shaped their favourite landscapes.

The four parts are:

    1. Limestone
    2. Sandstone
    3. Granite
    4. Slate

I've just listened to the first programme and found if delightful.

Radio 3, blimey! I must be getting old....
