The British Meteorites collection consists of meteorites that have fallen in Great Britain and Ireland and which are now preserved in museum collections. We have also included samples of the two known meteorite impact deposits in the UK.

The Virtual Microscope has added a new collection off British & Irish meteorite thin sections images. The announcement is here and the collection is available from here. There are some very nice images of the whole meteorites too.

Brilliant stuff David, quite an update from when i last looked. A wonderful way to show off these amazing UK specimens. A very well put together website too.
