Postby David Entwistle » Fri Dec 04, 2015 8:11 am

Professor Monica Grady will be giving The Royal Observatory Greenwich Christmas Lecture - see here for details.

Date and time: 10 December, 19:00-20:30
Price: £8 Adult | £7 Member
Location: Royal Observatory, Planetarium & Astronomy Centre, Peter Harrison Planetarium

Join leading space scientist, Professor Monica Grady, to explore the winter wonderland of the comet known as The Rubber Duck.

The comet's surface was revealed by the pioneering Rosetta spacecraft and its lander, Philae. Grady was involved with the Philae lander project from very early on and also worked on a component of the project – a shoe-box-sized gas analysis instrument – called Ptolemy.
