The farm on which the meteorite fell belonged to Andrew Walker, recorded as a 71-year-old in the 1901 census and who died just 451 days after the fall, on 8th December 1903 -

Tonight incidentally is the 17th anniversary of the fireball which blazed across southern Ireland and resulted in the Leighlinbridge meteorite, still of course the last British Isles fall.
