Salisbury meteorite 1848?

While surfing through some old journals, I happened across this claim in The Observatory about a supposed meteorite fall near Salisbury on Dec 1 1848 -

I don't see it mentioned in the 19th C page, even among the doubtful falls -

Could be a red herring, but on account of the claim appearing in a reputable journal I thought it was worth drawing attention to.

Only 170 years delay...but perhaps worth so ;) me of us heading down that way for a look ;-)
