Thanks David.
I've only just noticed that this was posted.

I hope everyone notices my gleaming new hand-build Summerhouse in the background, next to the walkway and bridge over the stream.
However, in this part of Scotland, it's simply called a "House".

Cheers,
Rob.

Hi Martin.

It's very early days and there's nothing set in stone yet, but I'll keep everyone posted.
The profile shoot was supposed to be the last for this year, but the Strathmore invitation came out of the blue and it was too good to miss.
I'm sure there will be another Fernlea BBQ in the rain when everything's finalised. It makes a terrible mess of your hair.....but we love it!

Looks like we'll be heading down to Yorkshire soon/next. Whoo-Hoo!!!!!

Let me know if you come to Wold Cottage, i will drive over and meet up. I have a gift to hand over to Derek and Katrina and as well as booking my summer hols there for summer 2012 i was planning another trip up there soon to hand it over. When i was there with Dave Gheesling and Graham Ensor recently I was given a number of prints of the WC monument with comet Hale Bopp in the background. This is a photo taken by Derek and can be seen on the label of bottles of Falling Stone. These were then signed by Derek and also taken by Dave back to the USA were he also got them signed by Tom Bopp! These were then framed with a decorative descriptive placque and look superb! I have one of these to present to Derek and Katrina. Its cool that its been signed by Tom Bopp, the co discoverer of the comet.

Very nice indeed!
I've enjoyed staying there a couple of times. The food is excellent and deserves a special mention.

I'm not much of a photographer and I always thought that those comet & monument pictures were some sort of photoshop excerise.......they look very grainy and computerized to me. It was only after the guy at Wold Cottage explained how he spent ages outside in the cold before getting the right exposure (2 mins) when I realised that hey were un-doctored true photographs. I still can't see the little wooden fence at the foot of the monument though.

If anyone's wondering what the heck we're talking about, there's a picture of the photograph here:
