A 1.1kg individual of the recent Martian fall Tissint has been donated to the Natural History Museum, London. You can read about the donation on the BBC website here. Further images of this stone are available on the Falling Rocks website. This stone, likely the largest individual from the Tissint fall, was initially purchased by Darryl Pitt (Macovich Collection) and Dave Gheesling (Falling Rocks). An anonymous benefactor has then covered the costs to purchase the stone for the Natural History Museum, an incredibly generous gesture for which we would like to thank all involved.
