This months image of the month consists of two photographs of the Bovedy main mass. This 1969 fall resides in the Armagh Planetarium collection. Bovedy is a classic L3, absolutely jammed full of crisp, colourful chondrules. The Planetarium has posted a video featuring the stone on YouTube here. Our image appears courtesy of Jim Brady. I know this stone very well as I saw it come down on that beautiful Friday evening. Unfortunately what is left is only about half of the original stone. In saying that I am now very pleased after 40 years of looking to have a small slice in my own collection!
