Two pieces of news related to British meteorites from the past couple of days:
- Firstly, Rob Elliott (of Fernlea Meteorites fame) is interviewed on the STV site here. The article is titled "Meteorite rocks believed to be worth £1m found in potato field" and it relates to Rob's most recent cold find in fields a few miles from the Perth fall in 1830. The stones Rob has found are not from the Perth fall however and represent a previously unknown fall.
- Secondly, the Lake House (or Wiltshire) meteorite has now made it's way into the Meteoritical Bulletin Database here. This opens up the possibility of further research on the stone being published.
