If I could only collect a single group of meteorites I would choose the eucrites. Whilst it is true to say I have a soft spot for chondrules, especially in thin section, the huge variety that exists within the eucrite classification is astonishing. This month Barry Lee provides us with an image of a classic monomict breccia eucrite, NWA 6618. Click here to view the image in the Gallery or here for our archive of all previous "Image of the Month" images.

More image of the month submissions are, as always, welcome.
