press release from the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle and Université Pierre et Marie Curie indicates a fall on the night of 12th - 13th July 2011. So, not related to the
fireball widely reported from Brittany on the 19th July 2011. So, perhaps still more news to come?...
The Daily Telegraph offers the following interesting assertion:

I'd probably go with Antarctica...
