(Sahara) Carbonaceous chondrite CO3 (stone)
Found October 1996
Some careful cutting has produced some beautiful and extremely thin slices of this carbonaceous chondrite meteorite. The dark matrix reveals chondrules, some shock veining and a surprising amount of fine grained metal flake - natural edges have fusion crust.
