This extremely rare meteorite does not fit into any standard group and has been classified as a C3 un-grouped carbonaceous chondrite. With a total known weight of just 572g, DaG 430 is one of only three known meteorites to have this unique classification. In cut sections, DaG 430 reveals a very
fresh, grey coloured matrix with a surprising amount of metal flake and black chondrules. A wonderfully rare meteorite!
